Scooterkitty must meet financial obligations of present and future shopping debt by returning to the mundane process of work. Fortunately SK works only three 12-hour shifts a week, giving her time with four days of freedom, beginning Monday this week. My current obsession: purchasing quality rain gear and still looking stylish. Alas this is all the time I have to tell you about it now… more tomorrow…

Scooterkitty is constantly attempting to find the latest star sightings on their scooters. As we all know, scooters are amazing for getting around in tight places, whether it be traffic congestion or a studio set. So, here is some visual “fluff” to inspire you to be fashionable. Well, just being on the dang scooter is already fashionable!
- Audrey Hepburn
- Gwyneth Paltrow
- Jane Krakowski
- Milla Jojovich
- Nicole Kidman
- Marie Van Doren

Happy Scooter-Sunday!
Scooterkitty loves to be pretty on her Pink Vespa, but she also like to be safe. And dry. And cool. Did Scooterkitty ever tell you she lives in Florida? Wonderful for the skin, but humidity is awful on the hair-that’s another story.
This is her fav jacket of the moment, the Joe Rocket Cleo 2.0
Here’s all the technical jargon:
Pros: It’s textile. It’s Joe Rocket. It is relatively lightweight. It’s only around $140, the liner keeps you dry. On hot hot hot Summer days, the liner is wonderful to zip out, and you just wear the meshie part with the armor. Armor it has… just enough for protection but not enough to make you look like you are either a: turtle, or b:a superbike owner. The fit can be adjusted easily throughout, especially in the wrists. The little sparkly design on the should/sleeves is also reflective! It also has a scootery-feel to it like a Corazzo jacket, but with protection! Did I mention the Ipod pocket?
Cons: You might not like this if you are in cooler parts of the country since it is not leather. And yes, leather is important and very safe as well. But leather comes with a price. This does not replace rain gear. It is a waterproof shell, but you will need more if caught in a downpour.
Now get out & ride! Meow……..

ScooteCute.com is managed by Scooterkitty. Why is it necessary to bombard the www with another blog/site? I believe scootership is on the rise, and to be honest, Scooterkitty has no interest in looking like a Harley Chick. Nothing against HC’s, it’s just not her thing. Scooterkitty strives to be more hip, more modern. I am also interested in the cost-cutting, eco-friendly side of scooter ownership. There are increasing forum and club memberships for scootergirls. Scooterkitty wants to be safe, though. She is a paramedic, a critical care nurse, and a fledgling Nurse Practitioner student. Mr. Scooterkitty is also a paramedic, and has scraped up his share of flattened scooterists and cyclists in his time. Enough yuk-ness, you get the point. Scooterkitty strives to be that perfect mix of grrrrrr and ‘meow’…girly-girl style, and figures she is not alone out there.
After visiting several scooter websites of late, Scooterkitty thinks it wise to dedicate a site to collect all that is important to the fashionista scootergirl in one location: save a girl some time! Scootcute.com was born!
What you will be finding here are links, latest reviews on clothing, ride gear, etc., news on the very cuteness of all scooters out there. Scooterkitty welcomes comments, but be advised she is quite particular and tempermental, depending upon her mood. Attitude is very important when reaching scooterdiva status!
Welcome. Suggestions? I may listen………….
